At 33 and after 14 months of ttc myself and my husband were officially classified as having reduce fertility and had begun testing to find the cause. Our initial tests came back normal for both of us. This was reassuring but also left us with unexplained reduced fertility.
Then I discovered this wonderful product! I had monitored my cm for several months and had noted that I only tended to have about a day of the egg white variety and if this was not timed well with my ovulation we could be failing to get past the first hurdle. Therefore, I thought that this coul20d explain our reduced fertility and that this product may help us. We do not tend to use lubricant so were using this product purely for its reproductive qualities. 1st month of adding this to our ttc effort with no other supplements we have a positive!!!
Obviously I can not be sure that it was the lubricant but after 14 months ttc without it, with no positive pregnancy test and 1 month with and success it certainly is some coincidence! And one that a lot of other people seem to share.

Can fertility lubricants really help you get pregnant?
Fertility-friendly lubricants like Conceive Plus are designed to mimic natural cervical mucus and maintain a pH-balanced environment that supports sperm survival, unlike standard lubricants which can be spermicidal. While lubricants alone don't treat underlying fertility issues, they may help optimize conditions for conception when cervical mucus production is limited. However, if you've been trying to conceive for over a year (or 6 months if over 35), the American Society for Reproductive Medicine (ASRM) recommends consulting a fertility specialist to identify any underlying causes.

What should I do if I have unexplained infertility?
Unexplained infertility occurs in about 15% of couples and means standard fertility tests come back normal despite difficulty conceiving. Your doctor may recommend additional testing such as hysterosalpingography (HSG), advanced semen analysis, or referral to a reproductive endocrinologist for further evaluation. Treatment options range from lifestyle modifications and fertility supplements to intrauterine insemination (IUI) or in vitro fertilization (IVF), depending on your specific situation and preferences.
How important is cervical mucus for conception?
Cervical mucus plays a critical role in fertility by providing a hospitable environment for sperm survival and transport through the reproductive tract. During the fertile window, cervical mucus becomes stretchy and egg-white consistency (high in water content), which facilitates sperm movement. If you notice limited cervical mucus production, discussing this with your healthcare provider can help identify potential causes and appropriate solutions.

iving?
According to ASRM guidelines, you should seek evaluation after one year of regular unprotected intercourse if you're under 35, or after six months if you're 35 or older. Additionally, you should see a specialist sooner if you have known risk factors such as irregular cycles, endometriosis, pelvic inflammatory disease, or a male partner with known fertility concerns. A reproductive endocrinologist can perform comprehensive testing to identify barriers to conception and develop an appropriate treatment plan.
What role do inositol supplements play in fertility?
Myo-inositol is a naturally occurring substance that has been shown in clinical studies to support healthy ovulation, regular menstrual cycles, and improved egg quality, particularly in women with polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS). Many fertility supplements combine myo-inositol with vitamins like folate and vitamin D to provide comprehensive support for reproductive health. While supplements can be a helpful addition to your fertility journey, they work best when combined with other healthy lifestyle practices and medical evaluation if needed.
Can I use regular lubricant while trying to conceive?
Standard lubricants are generally not recommended for couples trying to conceive, as many contain ingredients that can be toxic to sperm or alter the vaginal pH in ways that inhibit conception. Fertility-friendly lubricants are specifically formulated to be sperm-compatible and maintain an optimal pH balance for conception. If you need lubrication during intercourse while trying to conceive, choose a product specifically labeled as fertility-friendly or consult your healthcare provider for recommendations.
